The Tale of Rose: A Review

The Tale of Rose follows Rosie, our protagonist over two decades. We start with Rosie just out of college – sassy, cool and, driven. She is impetuous and wilful.

Life hands her lessons and she deals with them, maturing with each life event. We watch the girl become a woman and in the process reflect on our lives.

Interwoven with Rosie’s tale we watch her sibling grow in his life. We are seated as we watch her woman tribe grow and mature.

In the end, we are rooting for the fictional characters as much we are rooting for ourselves.

This show is a lovely slice of life, a coming of age, a deep look at the microcosm of relationships of all kinds.

My novel A Star Keeps Its Distance lives in this same world of fandom, longing, and second chances. Signed copies ship from my desk in Exton.

Highly recommended.
