I live my life in phases. My social media at any given point is a reflection of the community I seek. So, my timeline, is in a sense the detritus of my past two decades. There are times when I feel an intense desire to wipe it all clean and disappear. I let the impulse pass because the two odd times I gave in to the impulse, I ended up hurting people inadvertently.
Right now, I am at a curious place where I am not active in any particular community. I am mostly the bystander, the observer with nothing much to contribute. In essence, there may not be a better time to give in to the impulse and leave. It is also that point in my life where I am not looking for alternate spaces to occupy or be part of.
