Our Daughters, the documentary that has been almost two years in the making now is a recipient of the CAAM Media Fund. In their words.
CAAM is supporting six new documentaries through our Media Fund department. CAAM funds documentaries and projects made by or about Asian Americans that are intended for public media. This includes our Documentary Fund, in which projects receive up to $50,000 in support, with funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
To me it is validation that this story is universal, it is human and it is essential. A huge shout out to Chithra for her tireless work in telling the best story possible.
