This thirty two episode show on Viki was a much awaited contemporary show starring Zhao Lusi and William Chan
The show starts off promising a fast paced, slick show set in the world of business and fashion. The leads and supporting cast is fantastic. The wardrobe is absolutely wonderful.
My problem is that once I sat through the anxiety inducing (for no good reason) first 10-11 episodes, I expected the show to deliver. It did for the next 10-12 episodes and then instead of amping up the storytelling fell into the trap of safety and comfort.
Where the show stands out is how real the business discussions sound, how well the cast portray their characters. Where it falters is the weak premise.
