Lovely Runner is the drama that reminds you why you started watching kdramas at all.

It is funny and cliched and tropey and unembarrassed by every bit of it. The colors run loud. The music sits right. The story knows what it wants to be and goes there without detours.
What it leaves out is what makes it sing. No maddening miscommunication. No toxic family looming in the wings. No manufactured angst stretched to fill the runtime. It trusts its leads and centers the people watching.
My novel A Star Keeps Its Distance lives in this same world of K-pop, fandom, and second chances. Signed copies ship from my desk in Exton.
Byeon Wooseok and Kim Hye Yoon hold you from the first scene and refuse to let go. By the finale I had already moved it to the rewatch pile.
If this moved you, send a tip.
