My Lovely Sam Soon is an older kdrama, Hyun Bin and Kim Sun Ah, and it has aged better than I expected.
I loved how this show subverted tropes and starred an ‘unlikeable’ FL. She is brash, uncouth, loud and unfeminine. She is honest, wears her heart on her sleeve and direct.
There is so much to love about how these characters evolve over the show.
As someone who hated Boys Over Flowers, liked Coffee Prince and was kinda okay with Secret Garden, this show definitely falls in the loved category.
