Earlier in October, Carrie Goldman who runs the Portrait of an adoption series on Chicago Now reached out asking if I would like to submit a piece for their 10th anniversary run. I agreed and thought about what I wanted to write given this is National Adoption Awareness Month.
The liminal space in adoption is always about connections between the three families involved. So, I wrote about that.
Read the piece and if it resonates with you, please share.
Hi Lakshmi
The link didn’t work. I couldn’t bring up the article or magazine source. Could you just send me a PDF instead?
Thanks

I also cannot click on your link but found it online. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
