Immersed in work all of today, I took a break to play with this new tool I found while browsing that lets you transfer photos from your Flickr account to Picasa. I had been looking for something like this ever since Yahoo photos moved my pictures to Flickr. As I moved album after album, I was surprised at how click happy I had been at some time. This picture made my mind go down many different paths. I kept coming back to it. While I try to find out what it evokes in me, I want to hear from you. So, caption this.
In a comment or email, tell me what thoughts come to your mind when you see this. Have a happy weekend!
It is the Road Ahead for me with immense possibilities and greener pastures.
As cliched as it may sound, for me it was it is not the destination but the journey that is important π
not fair asking us to think, we are here to read your thoughts:) (ok change it to just me)
Ashokar maram nattar!
Musafir hoon yaaron, na ghar hai na thikana..
mujhe chalte jaana hai, bas chalte jaanaa…
An Optimist’s view – Two paths ahead of me… but both look equally green..
A Pessimist’s view – Two roads ahead of me.. but both are equally barren..
super pic! Avlothan! :–D
The path to beyond :)…
the road less traveled.
The road ahead is smooth if we make it so, there will be rays of light that flood us sometimes and shades for the moments in life when we need it. Life is vibrant and fresh, look to the sky and achieve the goals that you set yourself then you can enjoy the journey of life and live it to the max π
Sorry no profound captions… just the word “boulevard” kept cropping up! I guess I have become so much of a skeptic that to me this is just a beautiful pic of the many boulevards around in the US…will make a pretty pic in spring, summer, fall or even winter!! π Good I have not become that skeptic that I can’t even appreciate the beauty π I better stop here! right?! π
@M: Totally depends on our frame of mind doesn’t it?
@Akay: Nice way to look at it.
@sachita: Kalakare po!
@pv: I read this with the tune and thoroughly enjoyed it.
@Shankar: Absolutely realistic.
@SK: Muchas Gracias!
@JS: Now you gotta define beyond for me.
@AS: Apt for this picture because it was one of those roads that were private.
@Kiran: Wow! That is pretty descriptive and poetic even.
@Apar: No problemo! Boulevard works fine!
Calm and serene! Such a view on paper or otherwise gives me inner peace.
@slk: Precisely the reason I love this picture.
Miles to go before I sleep!! π
