I seem to ‘know’ more people at work all of a sudden
I enjoy driving to work
I look forward to going to class early just so I can chat with my classmates
I am having a great time with Amma at home
I have genuine well wishers in my virtual friends from around the globe
I no longer feel the need to constantly connect with people I once ‘felt’ a connection with just to validate the past
I am able to read the news a little bit differently as Suman told me a few weeks back
I look out my window and truthfully feel amazed by the power of nature be it sunrise, ice, snow or fog.
I feel there is really something to this whole “fate” or “kismet” funda
I am incredibly blessed.
I no longer feel the need to constantly connect with people I once βfeltβ a connection with just to validate the past
Perfect! That’s exactly sums up what I need to do, or the place I need to get to.
Thank you! π
Hi Laksh. What a positive post!!! I love it π
but unrest is my default state so what exactly is the route from here to the post above?:)
Lovely post to end the week.
You said this beautifully, “I no longer feel the need to constantly connect with people I once βfeltβ a connection with just to validate the past”. I am sailing in the same boat, although the urge to connect keeps coming on and off, and I have to remind myself to let go.
“I feel there is really something to this whole βfateβ or βkismetβ funda” – I kinda understand but not entirely. May be you can explain a little bit.
“I am able to read the news a little bit differently as Suman told me a few weeks back” – I did a little dance on my chair :-). Have a good weekend Laksh.
Felt good reading this and wanted to let you know π
Laksh.. a good positive post from u on a friday… a good way to kick start the weekend.. have a nice weekend…
Cute Laksh. :–) When is husband coming back?
Nice:) it was nice to read it… hope you have a great weekend,
(haven’t said Hello in a while, but been following regularly)
take care,
That’s a different Laksh..another MBA effect…seems all positive.hope u are enjoying the weekend. call your stylist..get ready..time for Oscars..almost:)
Hi Laksh, like Just Someone, I’ve also been following regularly. I’m incredibly blessed, that’s what I’m thinking very often these days. Sometimes we (read I) get depressed and worried for even the smallest things, we forget to see the bigger picture. That was a nice reminder Laksh. Want to tell you something, will call you this evening.
@rads: I have struggled with it for years now. I think I ‘finally’ have gotten to the place where I wanted to be.
@spillay: Only goes to prove I should just follow my guts and write without thinking π
@sachita: Unrest is a nice state to be in too. I usually get to the place above only because my mind was in a state of unrest. ;p
@Suman: Re “fate”. My struggle to reconcile myself to the child free identity somehow got easier once I realized in Slumdog style “It is written no?”. Once I passed the burden of responsibility on a power beyond my control, coming to terms with my life has been easier. May be it is called denial. I am not sure but I just feel it makes the process of acceptance easier.
@Nandini: Thank you for delurking!
@Shankar: Hope your weekend was good π
@SK: Back next Sunday. yayy!!
@JS: Glad to hear from you. Yes. Weekend has been nice. Looking forward to the Oscar night.
@Shy: you crack me up. LOL! Almost time now.
@Madhuram: Waiting for your call. π You have me all curious now.
