Spreading the love – one pink chaddi at a time

Logging on to Google Reader, I saw many on my list link back to the Pink Chaddi Campaign. I was intrigued by the name and read on to nod my head in agreement and smile with amusement. I will definitely raise a toast to Indian Women this Saturday. As far as the pink chaddi goes, will have to look in my closet.

So, check the Pink Chaddi campaign here and sign up!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

  1. Hey Laksh,

Happy valentine’s day to you too….am gonna be part of it too.
How are you doing? Thanks for the message dear. I was touched by your concern.
I took up a new job 3 months ago and its high security workplace. So no access to mail or blogs. Hence this hibernation. will be more regular soon.
    Take care.

  2. Sometimes I’m clueless as to what’s happening in India. Why are we opposing Sri Ram Sena? What’s the story? I didn’t get it from the campaign link.

  3. I am with UL on this – why a pinnk Chaddi? But I am with you on this one – as much as I don’t believe in Valentine’s day, I believe in free will…

  4. @Usha: Chaddis probably to shame the Ram Sene? I think it has more of an impact than would roses.
@Rupa: Glad to hear all is well and you are settling in your new job. Saw your latest post. Welcome back!
@Madhu: The Ram Sene folks beat up girls in a pub in Mangalore in the name of Indian culture. Google it, am sure you will find plenty of links to the incident.
@Akay: Am in it too for the free will part of it. I will most definitely head out to have a juice in the name of women’s rights.
