It’s amazing how little things bring order and a smile to an otherwise chaotic day. After six odd months, as K and I drove to work together, I was on my cell phone calling Amma like I always do. Just as expected, she picked the phone at first ring and my first question was “Enna pannare?”. Like always.
After I was done talking to her and we pulled into our office parking lot. I was smiling so much that my cheeks felt stretched.
As much as I love impulsive stuff, sometimes, the sameness, the routine has a way of letting me know I am home. In a safe, secure life moored with family and friends.
Routines are good, aren’t they? They keep your feet grounded:); and give you the sense of security many seek…
Glad to note your Amma had a nice trip!
Routine is often under-rated, isn’t it?
@JS: Very true!!!
@Suman: Yes it is. I realized it yest for sure.
