Not sure how many of you have had this secret longing to be surprised. I always have had. Being married to Saathi sort of drove home the point that there are a set of people who do not believe in silly things like surprises and celebrations. After years of secretly hoping my hints will work, I had finally given up and decided I am doomed to a surprise free existence.
Today morning I woke up and made my way to the kitchen in a sleep induced daze dreaming of hot mugs of coffee. I found a box of my favorite cookies and a lovely, lovely card by it. I am a true believer in miracles now š
Here I am grinning since morning…
Hey Lux, Congrats!Sometimes wishes do come true!! I am still waiting for such a surprise ..maybe in October.
Lakshmi, what a nice photograph of your Dad. Really nice. Glad to see you had a wonderful Valentine’s day š Take care.
Danish cookies?
Hey, if you are into contests there is a great contest on YouTube for Valentines Day. The contest is to create a video for the holiday. Actually its two contests, one is to make a video talking about your great love and the second is to actually do an online video proposal called “Will You Marry Me?” Here’s the URL http://www.youtube.com/greatestlovestories?cm_cid=twb8. Right now there are very few entries so you might have a good shot at winning.
@JDay: Not much a video person but thanks for the pointer.
I luv sweet surprises too š
